My take is similar to yours. WWIII began with the Soviet blockade of West Berlin. It was followed by the campaigns in Korea, Viet Nam, Afghanistan, and others. We call them wars, but they were all just campaigns in the bigger war. It ended when Reagan frightened the Soviets into fear of oblivion through ""Star Wars", which caused them to blow their budgets. The Wall in Berlin came down, and the Soviet Union was splintered into subparts. Unfortunately, Putin took over, and now we’re back dealing with the detritus from the Soviet’s first loss.

And to think that an entire group of joke tellers were kicked off of GoComics for telling jokes which required the readers to use their imagination to arrive at an impure thought, yet here we have a cartoonist publishing drawings of similar activities without penalty. Something smells kinda fishy if you ask me.

I wasn’t as disciplined as you, so after accumulating numerous pairs of cheaters and still not being able to find them, I had my opthalmologist re-write my prescription for glasses I could wear all the time, just as I had been doing for the previous 57 years. It works great. Now where did I put my prescription sunglasses?

Two mailmen: First one takes offense if my dogs (3) are out in the front yard (fenced) when he happens to arrive. Second one happens to notice that the dogs (inside the fenced in yard) chase his delivery truck up to the next yard, and decides to make it a regular event. He’d go around the corner, stop, race his engine a little, make a few false starts, then take off. It’s a short race, so the dogs usually won.

Now the branches my dog Clementine (2000-2016) would fetch were legendary, but alas, no more.
