   No, it’s just part of incumbency. CNN is ALWAYS negative about the guy in office as an election approaches. Remember how they were shocked that endless repetition of Hillary’s “scandal” put DJT in office?

   Whichever party is seen as “in power” is always slammed. This is just a fact of life in America.

   Many voters have a “throw the bums out” mentality that lasts till a couple of weeks after the convention. Then they start realizing they really do have to choose one, and as I’ve said many times before, a Biden voter holding their nose counts for exactly as much as a singing and genuflecting MAGA dancing into the polls.

   We’re gonna be voting for Joe vs John. That’s just how it is, unless one of them dies or has a really horrible and obvious health issue before the election.

   I give a lot of benefit of the doubt, but running with made up crap almost every day pretty well seals the deal. Unless you’re a MAGA of course.

   Poll numbers, this far from an election, mean nothing whatsoever. You can’t show they have any more predictive power than rolling dice, especially when the pollsters keep inserting “uncommitted” or “none” in their questions. Those just are not on the ballot.

   Save your worry for August or September.

   You might also want to remember that in every national test at the polls since 2016, the R’s have vastly underperformed expectations.

   Remember the RED WAVE that turned into a bare trickle?

   Remember that DJT was supposed to be a contender, but was beaten by ten million votes?

   Remember that Kansas gave the GQP a kicking over abortion bans, and that was in KANSAS!

   It’s way too early to waste tears on worry.
