I was wondering that two. According to this article http://www.editorandpublisher.com/eandp/news/articledisplay.jsp?vnucontent_id=1003810885 she is switching to animation - 3 times a week for the Washington Post

Oh, that’s a bit of a bummer. I often find animations to be elongated renditions of what a one-panel illustration can convey just as effectively (and without speaker volume at that!). But hey, it’s her vehicle.
