    Slynderfell: “Ok, you get this round. Cup or cone?”
    Flimm: “Cup. Rocky Road Fudge.”

    For the first time in a while, they are acting like the children they are. For Rufus, the worry and anxiety have melted away as he holds Twila. His quest is over. He has other concerns now. For Biff, he stands at the threshold of completing a great adventure, conquering a mighty foe. He wanted his best friend by his side. Just walking away with Twila safe is not enough for him.

    I don’t know if this Great Rift can be papered over. This may be a defining moment; in fact, the cueing is almost perfect for the dramatic entrance of the Evil Agent….

    Seems to me that Twila is Flimm’s weapon to destroy the group. So far it seems to be working.

    Flimm referred to Slynderfell’s charming little player. Is the player, perhaps, also playing with emotions?

    LIke Margo earlier, our two little heros.are having second thoughts. Rufe, with Twila, and Biff needs Rufe to carry on.
    Poor little guy is feeling like he is going alone.
    Tomorrow is Friday, Losters! One more day for the weekend cliffhanger.
    We need us some Derring Do Dan right now….

    I had also immediately recalled Margo’s wanting to bail out after her ordeal with Jamie Jones. And some readers had been critical of her then, which caused me some irritation: easy to talk when you’re not the one who’s in the thick of it! After all, who hasn’t experienced such a moment at least once in their lives, when you’ve been put through the mangle, and you feel as if you’re way in over your head, that nothing you do will matter — and you just want to say the hell with everything and everybody. Usually, one recovers from it sooner or later. But not always, and often not easily.

    Has anyone noticed that Biff has another face if you turn him upside down? The wrinkles in his brow become a grin. Not that it means anything. Just interesting art.

    @Green Darkness

    You get it Mr. Blymie
    I feel like that all the time.
    I’m in a foreign country now, but I am not having a Lost Side time of it.
    Things just gotta get better.
    Here and there……
