Yeah! Should have chosen Greta or one of the others to throw under the proverbial bus.

Could be? I like that analogy too! BTW Are you the “crazy” one, or is it your lovely kitty?

“What”, even in the UK, I believe is called the object of the interrogative, and never a personal pronoun. ………….. as in “What you say is rubbish” so maybe danketaz was rushing and forgot to type in “you” as in "what can’t you understand? ………. or they might have been a little loose with the rules of grammar ……… after all they used “nobody’s offering up hugs” instead of “nobody is”. Either way, their meaning was clear.

Norm, you really should stand up for your for your girl, unless you want to hear her complain : “Why, you stuck up, half-witted, scruffy-looking, Nerf-herder!”

What does being British have to do with anything?

  9. 2 days ago on Arlo and Janis

I haven’t read it that way. Decidedly more insecure, but not a wild child as I remember

I think Erin might have an “unexpected” answer to the boyfriend question ……….I will be highly disappointed if Janis reacts negatively, but I’m sure she will be cool with it.
