   One of my favorite shows was DEAD LIKE ME. It had Mandy Patinkin and the series was much too short. I still watch episodes on either Prime or Netflx.

   Not having been there, I’ll take your word for it. We live near a prison and they wear orange jumpsuits.

   The first year here, we went to the county fair. There were prisoners there wearing green stripe shirts and pants and little hats like bellhops used to wear. They were the non violent prisoners who were on the ‘trusted’ list. They picked up trash and did whatever was needed. There were plenty of guards around.I guess you had to earn the green stripes over the orange.

   In my 73 yrs, I’ve seen and worn a lot of fashion ’don’ts.’ I can say that droopy pants down to under a guys’ behind is the worst thing I’ve ever seen. Sometimes they can’t even walk.

   I got it all except the ‘tuckie part’. I read a lot of books that take place there as well as Wales, Ireland, etc. And, watching series like The Brokenwood Mysteries helps. The UK puts out the best television shows and series. I’ll take BritBox and Acorn over any US streaming any time. The US puts out garbage like housewives. The first time I saw the word UTE, it threw me. It took a couple of sentences before I figured out it was a pickup truck.

   I agree about how odd it is in normally busy airport to be one of the few who are there. On a fight from San Diego to Calgary, it was the first flight out and we got there way too early (as instructed). The ticket counters weren’t even open.

   Wise choice. The other senior English required books were Moby Dick and The Scarlet Letter. I did read those on my own.
