I inherited or collected 14 large plastic tubs of vintage yarn. Right now, I’m making a throw for an elderly friend. Seems appropriate to use vintage yarn for a vintage recipient….
One has to be very, very careful nowadays, considering how much AI-generated utter bilge Amazon is allowing. Do a simple comparison of some and you’ll find they are the identical story, right down to identical five-star reviews.
Serious readers know that Amazon allows paid reviewers and AI bots, which give five stars to mediocre or simply bad books. We also know that way too many “reviewers” simply have to say something bad, and will badmouth the book because of shipping, printing, etc., issues not having anything to do with the story itself. So, like Theseus2 said, we’ll read the one-stars over the five stars. We may or may not buy the book, but reading one-stars is usually highly entertaining. Also, canny authors read the one and two star reviews, then use them as advertising lures. It works extremely well.

Khakis typically feature exterior stitching and a sturdy, straight leg that makes them suitable for rougher wear — they may be thicker material, but not always.
