Uh oh. Is this the start of a worrisome storyline?

Spud gets a guilt trip for rejecting his caring imaginary friend in 3 … 2 … 1 …

Kids who play violent video games are statistically LESS likely to be violent in real life. Nobody has conclusively explained why. (Maybe the games are an outlet? Maybe they teach consequences?). Regardless, the games are not the cause

A dry humor punchline as only Skin Horse could drop them! I’m so disappointed that there weren’t more weirdos like me who found this strip so engaging.

Wait … he says he’s a tortoise. Tortoises don’t have slammable shells. So … he’s been lying and is really a box turtle?

What @neatslob said. The original run was 2008 through 2013. The most recent repeat cycle (3rd recycling) started November 30, 2020 — this is actually day #82 (I think) in the series.

Huh. We put ears on almost all of our jack o’ lanterns, from the time I was a kid a half century ago. Maybe it’s a regional thing?

  8. almost 4 years ago on Heart of the City

I did … and I’m giving it a chance. But, giving it a real chance means not comparing it to what Tatulli did, at least for me. I’ll be looking at it as a new strip, despite the familar names.

  9. almost 4 years ago on Heart of the City

I always appreciated Tatulli’s ability to weave depth of meaning into the strip, whether in the dialog or in nuances of expression. I haven’t yet seen that in the Steenz reboot. It’s still early for her, and maybe she’ll find a way, but she has big shoes to fill.

So, this is permanent. From Mark Tatulli himself: https://www.instagram.com/p/B_P8FIRhM99/
