Former keeper of the Luann FAQ, until GoComics adopted a policy of "no formatting, no links, no useful information." But I'm still here, some ten years or so later, so obviously I got over it.

Although I cannot post a link since GoComics changed their policies about that, I will say that Merriam-Webster only partly agrees with you, sir.

It’s in their “grammar and usage” section under “commonly confused” and GoComics should apologize for making it necessary for you to find it yourself.

Now just leave Kevin that way. It’s safer.

No, it was already law there.

In fact, in 2020 both parties’ conventions fell after the deadline and Ohio issued a waiver to both.

I saw that as well. Expect SCOTUS to get involved if that bill goes through, and I think that after the Colorado case they’ll not be happy to be addressing it again …

He’s already too late for North Carolina and Utah. Filing deadline for those two states was March 5. Texas is only a couple of weeks away, on May 13, Montana is coming up in just over one month (June 3) and both Illinois and New Mexico also have filing deadlines that month.

I said “newspaper” not “ad bundle”.

I get twice-weekly ad bundles in the mail with the store ads as well, and many of them do have in-store coupons. But that’s still not what we were talking about here.

(And the chain where I do most of my grocery shopping offers those same coupons as digital, loadable to my loyalty card.)

Can I click on “like” for this comment multiple times? I can’t? Well, then everyone pretend that I did.

No Labels quit their campaign exactly two weeks ago tomorrow. I’d guess that’s right on the edge of Andrews-McMeel’s deadline for today’s strip.

OTOH, this may have also been a gift horse to Scott, who can now grace us with a story arc in a couple of weeks about Kevin being upset about No Labels throwing in the towel. In fact, he’s probably already working on it.

At least they don’t both have Winslow-colored arms today.

I have a friend whose daughter is a Girl Scout and I usually am both the first order of the year for her, as well as the last one (since I always end up wanting more about a week before cookie season is scheduled to end).

For me, a two-month expiration date would be too long.
