The amendment actually says no person shall serve more than two terms or ten years…. That was established so that anyone who served more than 50% of his predecessors term could subsequently run for only one more term.
Yeah, I had a cousin who claimed that all people with a college degree (of which I was one) had no common sense. I’ve lived long enough to see. How his home-schooled kids turned out. Enough said. (Although many home-schoolers do quite well)
