No one was shot at Kent State over daisies. The National Guard were called in after three day of violent demonstrations with buildings burned, businesses damaged, numerous injuries from thrown rocks, assaults and batteries etc. The NG was confronted by an angry mob which began pelting them with rocks, bottles and other things. The NG began to retreat until they reached the top of a small hill where they discovered another mob behind the hill and found that they surrounded. It was at this point, with hostile rioters advancing on all sides throwing things at them resulting in several injuries and having no avenue of escape, that the NG troops opened fire. In the after action debrief, every one of the National Guardsmen said they were in fear for their lives. No daisies involved.
Are you really that dense or suffering from cognitive dissonance? Dir. Comey’s address came after the FBI’s investigation of Hillary which produced the evidence of TS/SCI material illegally in her possession at her residence. The charges he read were the result of the evidence they found. That help?
President Trump did no such thing and is on record with video evidence of encouraging his supporters to go “proudly and PEACEFULLY to protest”. A few hours later when it became apparent that the protest in part had gotten out of control, President Trump made a public address calling for an end to the violence and for the protesters to go home.
Biden certainly did not instigate these pro Hamas riots but he hasn’t done anything to stop them. Be sure to tune into the Democrat convention in Chicago this August. Bring popcorn.
I’ve talked to LEOs and have presented this scenario. A private citizen or off duty cop is permitted to use deadly force and shoot someone breaking and entering their own private resident. However an on duty LEO coming across someone breaking into a house would not and is not authorized to use deadly force in that instance. They all agreed that was the case except in aggravated circumstances such as the perp turning on the cop.
In Babbitts case according to the video (filmed by an AntiFa agitator) there were four LEOs a few feet behind Ashli as she was climbing through the broken window. They obviously didn’t think that the use of deadly force was justified or would have done so. They didn’t even try to forcibly restrain her. So there you a perfect contrast between four experienced LEOS and Capital cop Byrd with a checkered history. What kind of cop leaves his weapon behind in the lavatory? As a vet I can tell you that a soldier loosing their rifle causes all kinds of hael to be unleashed.
Byrd panicked and acted in a totally unprofessional manner. In my opinion Ashli was murdered or at a minimum it was a case of manslaughter. I hope Babbitts successfully sues Byrd and the Capital Police.
Well Steve, your comment shows you know little of the region known Palestine. Suggest you research the history of the area especially beginning with the fall of the Ottoman Empire and conquest and control of the region by Britain in 1918 and going forward. Jews around the world began moving back to what was the nation of Israel and the movement accelerated at the end of WWII.
If you knew and studied about the region called Palestine after the fall of the Ottoman Empire which claimed it you would understand. It’s not that complex a story and it’s an interesting one. FYI there’s never been a nation or state of Palestine, just a loosely defined are much like, the Ozarks, Appalachia, Antelope Valley etc. here in the USA.
