We put a wind up alarm clock in the blanket for the puppy many years ago. She still made weep weep noises. Dad, half asleep, came down stairs and did what he always did for crying babies. He would pick the baby dog up, burp her, and put her back to bed. It worked.

That tiny spider must have packed quite a wallop. I like the room design, and many parents would agree with you. I would add tile walls all round so that drawing, markers, and hand prints could be easily removed. It’s probably easier to have the kids live in a locker room with a shower for the first two years of their lives.

Floof is not jealous, she is just surprised that Sirius got something good out of the situation. Sirius thinks that everything was good about the situation!

if you say the man’s remark with a Kiwi accent it sounds like “WIGHT Watchers is RIDING this PLICE tomorrow night!”

I went to a restaurant called Death By Chocolate in Christchurch, New Zealand in 1998. The menu was the size of a tabletop and was entirely filled with chocolate porn. I don’t remember any text. One dish would have stymied my entire family of big eaters and chocolate lovers. As I perused the menu, a plump man walked past and said “Weight Watchers is raiding this place tomorrow night!” confidentially, behind his hand. I got a small apple fritter.

I am amazed that she did not get splinters or worse. Nowadays dogs are given antlers to chew. I have a few pieces of moose antler that were intended for dogs, and will be used as craft backings instead. The antlers were shed by the moose, the First Nations vendor simply picked them up from the woods.

I have a friend who raises gorgeous Malamutes. He was treated badly at a dog spa where the owner said he had to be finished in a certain amount of time. It takes over one hour to dry the dog’s fur. He found a better spa.

    why wait for Halloween?

I think that the fur dyeing is a little extreme. I know it’s vegetable food coloring but I still think it can’t be good for the dogs.
