   Red states may very well get more federal largess than blue states. I don’t know why that would be (maybe agricultural subsidy?). My opinion is that the federal government shouldn’t be handing out money to states other than disaster relief. It’s just used to extort the states into complying with federal directives. The states were never intended to be subsidiary departments of the federal government.
