I was responding to @casonia’s post about the Republican “platform,” not sure how it got positioned where it did. I am a supporter of my local NPR station. NPR news always carefully researches its stories and if something they say can’t be independently verified by them, they say so.
Maybe if the Palestinian people had been dealt with fairly from the beginning, and not relegated to an open-air prison none of this would have happened, either. It’s hard for me to believe that the “crack” Israeli intelligence service missed all this tunnel construction.
Part of the problem in cities like San Francisco is that the plutocrats have made it so expensive to live there that not not only janitors and hotel workers must live hours away, even professionals such as teachers can’t afford housing reasonably close to where they are employed.
Seems like the best solution there would be to give the civilian parts of DC to the surrounding states, and make the governmental parts, where not much of anybody lives, a true Federal District.
My uncle solved the problem by living in DC but using his parents’ address outside DC as his legal residence, and voted there.
Trump, in a typical speech, tells innumerable lies. Why would you think he’s telling the truth in a situation like this? And she DID get paid; I can’t see Trump paying false accusers willy-nilly.
