I tried asking my wife if perhaps it’s a literal translation from German rendered meaningless but she drew a blank. It might be local to Germany but Oliver’s Austrian, same as my wife. I see 2 wheel-barrows, one turned upside down and one still with some earth or something in it. Is this a method of mole pest control? Germany’s country retreats are over-run by moles because of the heat wave and the guy’s extreme actions make him feel like a terrorist? The gnome has a whack-a-mole whacker in hand, too.Or…Mole as in espionage. Same colloquial meaning in German: Maulwurf
