My initial impression of the scene in this comic was that of a grown woman reading to her mother in some sort of care facility. Then Mom comes out with this wonderful, insightful take on modern society. The person in the bed does not look to me like a small child hearing a bed-time story. I have worked in a nursing home, and have visited parents and other relatives in a range of care settings. So maybe that’s the reason for my first impression.
The big bad wolf was just a victim of the lying media! The claims that he ate Grandma are totally false. They should be investigating that crooked red riding hood! She’s the real culprit! Sad!
