I had to Google this to see the song to which this was referring. Anyone from Virginia would probably know, it’s referring to “Carry me back to old Virginny”. With words like ‘taters’, ‘cotton’ and ‘massa’, I wonder how much thought went into the lyrics of this song when choosing it for this comic.
You can guess how I feel about this cartoon being a tenor & 5-string banjo player since the mid 50’, & nothing, except bag pipes, can clear the room faster than a loud banjo severely out of tune. The notes above the player should be jagged out of focus…then it would be a better cartoon!

The way I’m dropping comics due to the unnecessary political nature of non-political comics, I’m not going to be wasting time here much longer.

I’m deleting this comic. I don’t appreciate anything political! I’m sick of it!

To misquote a famous saying: “Music hath power to sooth the savage donor.”
