When my Mom was in assisted living for Alzheimers the staff care was inconsistent. I usually dropped in at unannounced times and found some of the staff cared and a few others were indifferent if not negligent. I raised the roof a few times. At $5700/month (1995 dollars yet) she should have the very best help. I think maybe a robot would be better sometimes.

Well that would be interesting.

I’d be a little leery of the Acme brand. My pal Wile E. had some unfortunate experiences with their products.

These workers are susceptible to a different kind of virus.

Unless the robot goes through a UVC decontamination light it can carry viruses from room to room. People breath on it and contaminate its surfaces.

LTC care suffers from high turnover, because it is extremely hard and underpaid work. This would be a viable solution if it were possible.

Be careful – the Wile E Coyote has had really bad luck with their products.

It can play videos of her loved ones too, so they don’t have to come and visit and possibly infect her…
