If I had a job where I didn’t know what I was doing, that would stress me out big time. I can’t see myself getting ready for work every day saying, “I wonder what I will not do today”.
Used to work with a guy who confided that his sole career ambition was to not be noticed… thought it would protect him from layoff cycles… it didn’t, and when his former bosses were contacted as references they had to admit that they couldn’t remember him doing anything…
