This is one of those times I have to agree with Steve, “unwashed” is not a good look for anyone.
I think “unwashed” is a prerequisite for nuc protests. When I was a guard for a nuc plant, “unwashed” outnumbered the “washed” every protest.
The “unwashed” look is very favorable with the Fauxhemians and Trustafarians who frequent the protest scene. It gives them gravitas in their minds and shows they give more thought to their style than the substance of their arguments.
Born in DC and raised in the suburbs…Every single day, someone is protesting something around here.
Right now, there are people protesting the National Spelling Bee!
Why? They claim the English language is too confusing!
