Laura: A book deal. I'm so proud of you, Adam! Adam: Well, it's not like I have a contract in hand. They still want to see the rough draft first. What's encouraging is that they want me to keep it just that... rough. They want it to be an accurate portrayal of my futile attempt to get work done with kids around. Laura: So we're talking a rather short book here. Adam: Or one of those mini-books you see up at the counter by the register for last-minute gift-giving ideas.
