Adam, do you have a hidden psychedelic past we don’t know about?

The third panel pretty well describes the world he lives in everyday.

In 84 I quit the Dead and got a real job. My shrink thinks that with medication, I may recover.

Panel 3 describes how I’d feel if I gave up coffee for a day.

very funny. One of my daughters became quite transfixed by the grateful dead in college. She went on tour with them for a summer. I didn’t like it but she came home and had had enough of it. She still liked the music but not the lifestyle.

Joe “Joe” Joe: “‘Avatar’ is a very popular movie.”

You don’t say? I went to a U2 concert in the 1980’s. “Avatar” has grossed 1.02 billion dollars worldwide so far. I went to an REM concert in the 1980’s. I suppose you could say that “Avatar” is popular. I went to a Sisters of Mercy concert in the 1990’s. Still, people who live in caves and don’t have access to TV, newspapers, radio, the Internet, billboards, supermarket displays, or word-of-mouth might never have heard of “Avatar”, so it’s good that this has been pointed out. I went to a Paul Simon concert in the 1990’s. We wouldn’t want anybody to miss “Avatar”. I went to a Decemberists concert in the 2000’s.

I’ve never been to a Grateful Dead concert (I’ve been to a Gillian Welch concert in the 2000’s, though), but I’ve seen identifiable Deadheads at OTHER shows, and I keep my distance. I have a low tolerance for patchouli. I wonder if “Avatar“‘s popularity (it’s very popular, after all) extends to people who wear patchouli. I suppose I’ll keep my distance, again, just to be safe. I wonder what concerts I’ll go to in the 2010’s?

Nice, two comics with references to LSD today (Zits as well).

Wonder if this has anything to do with the MAPS conference in California this year? I doubt it…But it’s great to see people loosening up about psychedelics.
