Next stop: the laundromat, where you can watch the clothes spinning around in the dryers.

I agree Joe, that was fun as a child.

But to watch it from the “lobby” is less than exciting!

My car dealer gives free car washes for those that have bought a car from them, but I miss the two ladies that used to wash my car in tank tops and shorts. But… free is free and all that.

When I was about 11, there was a time where I DID watch parking meters expire for fun. I think that had my parents kinda worried for a while.

Adam…..I know I keep harping on this, but if you had stayed in the car with the window opened you could have had your nose washed too! Since Brian Basset wont do it for you you should do it…..and don’t tell me it’s shadows there.

I agree Mr Doty. What’s the fun if you are not inside the car?

Joe and Cleo Nobody washes cars here, you do it yourself or go thru the automatic. Heck, if you go to a “full service” gas station (yuck, yuck full service) they don’t even wash your windows anymore!

Before I read the caption in the last panel, I thought their Spring Break adventure was watching an approaching tornado!

Dry the car wash that I was referring to with the two young ladies was an automatic wash, but they would prewash then towel dry what drops were left after the auto dry.

Maybe the kid would prefer a car wash adventure like the one in the ‘For Better or Worse’ comic strip!
