My parrots mixed all kinds of food into my laptop keyboard. If they can do it, so can Adam with an iPad.

Hold off Adam, the udgrade with the built in phone and stuff was already created when they relased the one you’ll have to replace in less than a year, but if you like Apple, you’re used to being ripped off like that.

MrsLu… If everyone waited ‘til next year we’d all be tweeting by telegram.

^ Says the guy who already bought the thing when there was already an upgraded version, WITH phone, waiting in the wings when he bought it. : )

Do you have a Telex machine? Telegrams, TWIX’s and Telex messages were retired in the 80’s, so probably not, but you have numerous devices that tweet already. Because EVERYONE CARES what you do minute by minute, I suppose.

Hey, if you have all that money to waste buying stuff that’s already obsolete they day you bought it, good for you, benb….

There are ALWAYS upgrades waiting in the wings. (And I don’t intend to be WAITING for them.) (Life is short, then you die.) While cynics have been waiting in the wings for their upgrades waiting in the wings, I’ve been enjoying my iPad.

    (I don’t tweet.) (But I burp sometimes.)

    A) An iPad is VERY different from a laptop. An iPad is to a laptop as a TV is to a Computer. They both show pretty pictures, but only one is for actual work :)

    B) Laura is absolutely right. Tech doesn’t make one happy. I would agree with benbrilling that you can’t wait on a product forever, but I personally don’t like adopting the first product in a line. I tend to wait for v2 or v3 so some of the initial bugs in any product line get worked out by people with way more money than me :)
