sleep? he must be hard of hearing; the sound level and explosive sound effects of today’s movies are brain shatteringly LOUD, to the point of need of earplugs
GL is another one of those movies that doesn’t deserve the hate it gets. It was a very good movie. Was it absolutely amazing… no, but it certainly wasn’t garbage like many make it out to be.
I liked the GL movie to a point. Interesting plot twists needed to make 40+ years of comics into a 2 hour movie, but there were several jokes that I laughed at that my wife didn’t get. Yeah, the back story of GL is rather corny and typical of the “magical beginnings” of many super heroes from the 40s-60s… but they’ve taken it so far from that initial story to make it a good series in general. I liked the graphical job they did on it more than the story itself. With that being said… MUCH better than the Superman remake but not as good as the Batman remake (mostly because of the cheesiness of the back story).

I laughed. Green Lantern was a mess.

I liked GL! It was sort of hokey yes, but classic DC always was…

Rain will do that to me every time. Movies, not so much.

No I meant Green Lantern. The one that got poor reviews and was 26% on Rotten Tomatoes and hasn’t even made back its budget. I loathed it.

I’m sure you meant GREEN HORNET, not Green Lantern. Wife gets them mixed up also.
