Adam: Aaaah! Wow. What a day. Okay, kids... No T.V. today. No computer, no video games. It's a glorious day outside, and we're not going to waste it inside. Mother nature doesn't bless us with enough of these days to let this one slip away. Now, rise up from your chairs and join me on the front lawn for some fun! See! Isn't this great? Seize the day! Clayton: How long do you think we'll have to stay out here. Katy: We do 20 minutes of something involving running... ...And dad'll be seizing some couch within the hour.

Within the hour? That’s longer than I would last!

Yeah, it looks like nice day out. I’ll just go sit outside with my iPod (w/ Bluetooth speakers), a good book and a beverage (of the 6-pack verity).

Nothing wrong with just sitting outside.

Adam’s not a hypocrite, Susan, he’s just too out of shape to last very long. What he really needs is to go to the gym once or twice a week, but of course, he’s not going to.

If it rained during a summer day we put on our bathing suits and played in the rain.

She needs to study up on her math: if they do 20 minutes of running, what’s happening the other 40 minutes to make it an hour, within which Dad limps to the couch?
