Adam: What's wrong? Clayton: Grammar is so annoying. There are too many rules. Lay vs. lie! Good vs. well! I vs. me! Adam: Yeah. I've dangled a few participles in my day. Clayton: My head feels ungood. Me gonna lay down.

If everypeople spoked gooder English there would be millions of grammar police who would have to go on the dole. Fortunately that will never happen.BTW has anyone watched Will Forte’s new comedy “The Last Man on Earth”?

Lay means to place something down. Lie is what politicians do.

Interesting that they do this subject today when yesterday the cartoonist used “lay” incorrectly.
