I used to work in a call center for a major communications company. You would think some of those people would die if they had to wait a day for a service call. Like I can have a tech there after you call it in at 8:00 at night. “Tech tonight or I’m cancelling”. Then there are the idiots who run a business on home internet, get business class service, problem solved.

You could watch your dvr as long as everything is not in the cloud!

Family game night! Monopoly anyone?

How come you kids aren’t in school?

Or, you can go out and learn some new skills…………..like readin’, ritin’, and rithmetic!

Or you could read a book to your kids.

On Labor Day our landline, internet and television service were all out for about 3 hours. Thank goodness I had some CSI Miami’s recorded to watch. Sidenote: Comcast used to be one place I could call and actually get someone who spoke English just like me. :-D Not anymore! I understood the man enough to know the service was out all throughout my area, that was about it!

I keep several movies on my Direct TV dvr just for this reason. If the lights go out, I have other activities that I can take part in!

My Internet provider had an issue that caused my service to be unavailable recently. I just read books, watched DVDs and did other things I had available to do until the service was back up on the evening of the second day.

That last comment is the complaint of every two-to-six-year-old I’ve ever known.
