I guess pumpkin pie must pale by comparison to Halloween candy but when you’re grown you can fully appreciate the whole meal and the whole gratitude thing. Glad to see Clayton is showing gratitude for what he has.

The Pilgrims, some of them, were dedicated socialists and nearly destroyed themselves by the strength of their community organizing. Halloween isn’t over. It’s just beginning.

Retailers have skipped over Thanksgiving and gone right to Christmas. Ads started in earnest at midnight yesterday. I’m thinking Netflix is going be getting a workout on my TV.

Thanksgiving was first used by Lincoln then later F.D.R. and it is really an orphan holiday. Though I like the reason for that season is to see family and eat hearty.

I want to hear the story about the fire breathing giant centipedes the Puritans an Pilgrims had to fight off along with the dark wraiths the local Wampanoag Indians conjured to remove them from their lands….G’qoulc a Massasoit ghoul.

The Wampanoag /ˈwɑːmpənɔːɡ/, also called Massasoit1 and also rendered Wôpanâak, are a Native American people in North America. They were a loose confederacy made up of several tribes. Many Wampanoag people today are enrolled in two federally recognized tribes, the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe and the Wampanoag Tribe of Gay Head, or four state-recognized tribes in Massachusetts.
