Fell asleep in a court room once, while waiting to testify. Bailiff shook me awake and told me judge was going to hold me in contempt. “Your honor, I apologize to the court, I was up all night with a newborn with colic, and…” judge stopped me there, SMILED, and ORDERED me to take a nap [just not in her court room ;-) ]
Hmm, let the little guy sleep for a bit, then wake him up and keep him awake all day. He’ll be ready to sleep when it gets dark and give you some peace.
