If that was a mumble, how come Laura heard the words?

Adam needs to work on his mumbling. We heard him.

That is not the end that is in need of a cactus stuffing.

He was only suggesting that they meet for Nopales for brunch.

Adam and his client make a prickly pair.

No worries. The guy on the other end probably heard something like “I need a cats az” and decided he heard it wrong, which he did, and ignored it. You can get away with a lot on a conference call when your bored.

“Mr. Block, cacti are very healthy – how else will you get aloe vera internally?”

No you misheard; I said ’that’s a fact, yes….’

He could have said to Shove a cactus, perhaps in a specific location

Oh he heard you anyway Adam. But don’t worry since he understands that you were just reacting to his unrealistic demands.

If he had taken it personally all of your coffee would turn into vinegar.

Many cacti are edible and considered delicious. Nice thought, Adam! ☺

Cactus jam isn’t too bad actually……
