How many times have we seen this story arc?

This time set limits. He knows your work quality, but you need not jump through hoops….. unless he REALLY pays well. Money talks.

He’s channeling William Shatner (James T Kirk) as he imagines his next few days.

Looks to me he doesn’t want to work just yet!!! Lots of naps & snacks are calling!!!

They pay you for the bad ones Adam,,,

Gotta take the bad with the good….

Some clients are worth firing.

Another worse client ever? He should be happy to have repeat business.

Nope, the worse client ever is the one that doesn’t pay.

I am an accountant. I have had clients like that.

On the other hand – I have a client who I charge US$10 a year to prepare her income taxes. She is not required to file a state or federal returns, but if she files a state return she gets a refund of $60 against the real estate taxes she pays as she is a senior citizen.

When I was 12 years old and first started working for my dad in accounting my first job was to add up a payroll book (on the adding machine – no calculators back then) for a client of his. This client is the daughter of that client! After the two families being associated as accountant/client for over 50 years – I can prepare her state return for the ten dollars – it covers the cost of doing so and a little bit more and she ends up with an extra $50 for the year.
