On the “Andy Capp” strip, posters enjoy sighting lavender clothing—especially men’s suits.

On THIS strip, the pool water is lavender!!

Must be a surplus of that color in cartoon strips!!

Some joy helps throw the ennui into sharper relief.

Sick tunes for a truly sick child, but in my vocabulary, sick is not a positive adjective.

I’m curious where Rob Harrell lives. It’s definitely somewhere much farther north than me. During the summertime, 73° would be considered chilly where I live. It has to be close to 10° warmer than that to be pool weather.

It takes less energy (muscles moved) to smile than to frown.

Good grief.

When you think about it, she creative talent that Adam would envy, even if it is a bit gothic and annoying.

So her implication is that 73º F is hot? Really?

Remember the old “Doonesbury” line: “Even revolutionaries like chocolate chip cookies!”

73 degrees is COLD
