I can remember seeing my mom wash clothes on her old wringer type washer while holding my baby brother on one hip and her other hand feeding wet clothes through the wringer….all like “nothing to it.”
Yes. Go write in a different room. Then Adam can’t be distracting. It won’t improve his writing (or his mood), but at least your writing streak won’t be interrupted.
A coworker who sat next to e commented on how fast I was typing. So I held the keyboard up where he could see it and said “Look, no eyes!” then I picked up the mouse and clicked it furiously in the air. Then he started doing it too. And the Commander in charge of us two civilians walked past us to get to his office. His only comment was, “You two are weird. Don’t break anything.”

At least the onomonopoeas from Laura’s laptop aren’t “Delete, delete, delete…”, like on Adam’s!!
