Wouldn’t it be easier to drag a nearly empty pool to near the curb and then fill it the rest of the way? Oh, but that would be too easy for that family.

I wonder if Katy is related to Agnes. After all, they both come up with stupid ideas.

Or, fill a spray bottle with ice water and forget about moving the pool.

TRUE STORY: When I was 13-years-old I had a Kool Aid stand out on the front lawn near the sidewalk, and I made a little Miniature Golf-type putting hole next to it. The “course” was a long, narrow green 4 feet wide with a 2-foot wide ramp that had a 4-inch hole in the middle it and set at a low angle, 10 feet away. I marked the course boundary with a garden hose.

With every 25-cent drink you got a free shot with a putter to make a hole-in-one. MAKE it and you get your quarter back or a free drink. One high school-age neighbor kept trying and trying. After spending about $2 he said it was too hard and dared me to try it. I had practiced a lot and with good luck going for me I dropped it in on the first try. He spent another $3 before he made it himself. Bought LOTS of candy that day. ;-)

Ah, 88 degrees. That’s what I call WooHoo factor zero when my pool reaches that temperature.

You could just throw a glass of ice water in their faces. Less work and you don’t have to worry about wet shoes.

Adam thinks this is a pretty cool idea.

You know, I’m thinking lemonade and shade would get a couple of bucks out of me if I was walking around there. Soggy drawers? Not so much.

Might work better if it’s $5 and she won’t splash the heck out them.

People can run through their neighbor’s sprinklers for free.
