Unless she sees the squirrel do something, she’ll blame Clayton for whatever. Clayton should watch carefully, he can pick up some excellent pointers from the squirrel and save them for… later…

Put out a birdfeeder and open the window.

A couple of years ago, there was a story arc in the “Luann” strip where the heroine and her GF’s went on a camping trip where their space was invaded by a curious squirrel. This kinda looks like a remake of that arc.

Squirrels are cute. Katy and her fellow rats definitely are not!!

My parents had gone to the beach for a week when a squirrel came down the chimney, pushed open the fireplace glass doors, and rummaged around the house. He found the cereal cabinet in the kitchen, and feasted on Cheerios and Bran Flakes. He also noticed the bird feeder hanging outside the kitchen window and destroyed the window muntins trying to get to it. Mom never did like squirrels after that.

When she said “It’s a rodent!”, I wanted to say, “Gnaw.” … but that’s one of the things that makes it a rodent – its gnawing teeth.

Wait until he brings his family, you know- the Nutkin.

Peanut butter gets a squirrel every time. Just put it in a live catch trap and then transport the squirrel out to a better location.
