Nah, kid. Terrier. Rat killers. Relentless and smart. One of mine chased a squirrel halfway up a tree before gravity caught up. Only the tree-rat’s head start saved it.
Only animals we have is my extensive Teddy Bear (and friend bears) collection. They have their own room – the smallest bedroom – but they do share same with some other inanimate friends – like Cabbage Patch Kids (and a few real Original Appalachian Artworks friends).
They don’t leave a mess and never bite anyone, but are very snuggy.

Between the noise and the smell, you DO NOT want a bloodhound.

We have 5 cats
That squirrel would either have been eaten by now, or they would have adopted it into the clowder

Reminds me of the Ray Stevens song Mississippi Squirrel Revival. The song and the video are funny.

They need to call in a professional. Squirrels can be nasty.

I have a bloodhound. The mini version (Beagle). They’re the best. Although our walks do involve more sniffing than walking.

A Cocker Spaniel would have gotten rid of the squirrel by now and would have been cuter than a blood hound.

Let’s face it, it’s not in Gumbo’s nature to chase squirrels, He’s just a lap warmer.
