Use a pressure washer, as long as there is a drain in the floor it works wonders. I got a small portable one. Seriously it works wonders! But you do have to clear everything first.
Hosing is not enough. Scrubbing is what removes biofilm. Note that most homeowner’s insurance does not cover water damage. I still say hire a househusband and let him work as a barista to pay for it.
