The reason I moved to SE Asia in 1995: I hate autumn and winter in Europe. No Hawaiian will change that.

Autumn was my favorite season in NYC. The end of summer heat, humidity, and mosquitos was such a blessing. Unfortunately, in S. Florida, there is no autumn.

She’s not far off; December 25 was/is a celebration of increasing daylight (winter solstice).

Fall is a nice season, especially when it’s been 90’s and nearly 100 at times, yuck.

All the seasons here.. give us all we have to cry or cheer…

Hilo Hattie keeps on scorin’.

I’m near Chicago, upper 80’s for the past few days, and the upcoming week.

Hasn’t rained since mid-august in my neck of the woods.

Give it up Adam, her mouth is never going to stop running with snide comments.

I grew up in NY, and I’ve lived in DC for decades now. I’ve learned from personal experience not to put my short sleeved shirts in the back of my closet until mid-October or so. That said, I really like Fall when the leaves turn and we approach the trifecta of holidays (Halloween, Thanksgiving and Xmas). Also, we have roughly a month and a half of the election to go!

Adam your kids (except Nick) needs other kids for stimulation input.

But… Halloween.

Send her to Hawaii for peace of mind……

I used to have a boss who suffered from seasonal affective disorder (SAD). He’d get so depressed in the wintertime. On the other hand, I love dark, gloomy, atmospheric weather. But then, I was raised on Vincent Price movies by a mother who loved to read gothic romances.

Adam suffers from acute Autumnism.

If you’re going to sulk go to your room and do it. No one wants to watch.
