I called an interviewer on that once….I could tell it wasn’t really an interview. She admitted that she was required to interview a minimum of 3 people, but she had someone picked out before HR even posted the position.She shouldn’t have picked me to interview. I lived 5 hours away at the time and started driving at 3:30 in the morning for the interview that day. I was furious. So I demanded reimbursement for my mileage expenses. She said no. So I went to the companies HR department and demanded reimbursement and an apology for bringing me there under false pretenses. They gave it me. Weirdly, the job I got a month later was only 1 block away from the company. So I walked by their building almost every day.
