I can relate.
I worked nights for 10 years and didn’t have much trouble sleeping
Went back to days for 5 years and slept terribly
Back on nights, best sleep in years

It seems like much more than a nightmare than anything else, but things that are in our control, we can either make the best of, or let them go from bad to worse.
