My wife died in March, and when I was checking for information on her work account they had listed her as “terminated” from her job. Talk about adding insult to injury and she had worked there since 1989.
Years ago a friend was working in a factory, that was letting people go left and right. They had a pay window where they handed out the weekly checks, and every week some were told, “We won’t be needing you any more”. SO when my friend found another job, he told them as he picked up his check.“I won’t be needing you any more.”
