I think that she’d do very well if she specializes in one particular species. Our last two vets have specialized in that species and had good businesses. They were also good vets.
My BA is in English Literature. I’m an appellate attorney. Reading and writing are important but often neglected skills. Learning how to do it well is never a waste.

As an accountant I would hire an English major. I can teach them what they need and they would be able to write decent reports and emails.
