I literally had some people do this intentionally, and when I told them about the gas and time wasted to get a “cheaper” item, they simply said: But it’s cheaper there! shrug [this is why math and statistics are important, kids]
What gets me are those stupid “club” cards. I refuse to shop at those stores. Fortunately, I live in an area where the alternatives are many and much better anyway.
