She’s a maniac, maniac on the floor, and she dances like she’s never danced before.

Charles Dickens’ characters in jolly old England wore elbow warmers. Remember Nancy in Oliver Twist?

Removable. Hip. Warm. All of which sounds like commercial success. Now Agnes needs a celebrity endorsee. They’ll wear out the path to her trailer, if they can find it.

Right, Kwerk, so “sleeve-warmers” are often part of Dicken’s Fair and Steampunk costumes, though usually longer and worn lower down… sometimes with fingerholes at the bottom edge.

_br>Some athletes wear thin stretchy arm-warmers, too.

Renaissance sleeves were always separate, sometimes tied on at the shoulder. In fact the word for filled, baked crepes in Italian, “manicotti”, means sleeves

The difference in Agnes’ version is perhaps that they are so short….. and that the socks.are unwashed.

Ankle warmers. Leg warmers. Knee warmers. Fingerless gloves. Now elbow warmers. .If you use the sock yarn that’s varigated – (the new superwool stuff) it will stripe and pattern all by itself. No More 6 balls of yarn!!! .I like my wristers. Great at work when the heat is off.
