Give Agnes one lemon, and she not only makes a whole pitcher of lemonade, she candies the peel and plants the seeds…and then delightedly points out the two slices she managed to save for a facial.I truly admire her gift for gratitude.
Actually, we’ve got two of them locally. One was turned into a grocery store. The other (including a parking lot that has not been repaved since 1850) still sits abandoned.
We have several abandoned Kmarts. One did get torn down but nothing has replaced it yet. The others get torn down and replaced with whatever, eventually. Walmart likes to build their own buildings to be abandoned later for Super Walmarts. It’s not pretty seeing an abandoned Walmart either. At least she gets to enjoy huge cups of super-fizzy drinks! lol
Anges is going to have a nice summer. (not including the dremel). For someone her age I will add to list – chasing on foot, through the brambles, the rabbit you want for a pet. That will take you over hill and dale and encompass an entire day. Or week, depending on how scratched you’re legs get and how much you want to get that rabbit.

To answer the teacher, “Compared to being cooped-up in your class for six hours each day? Heck, yeah!”.

A dremel for toe nails; why didn’t I think of that. I even have a diamond bit I can use in it! Just might do the trick!

Aww… I love the eloquence of Agnes. (I DID have to look up Dremel, though.) :-)
