Thus the reason I never use novocain in all my dental experiences, even crowns.. I’d rather have 5-7 minutes of pain than wind up with cheeks chewed into bloody shreds later that day.

@DavidHuleGreenI remember a 2nd Lt dentist that slipped off a side of my tooth and got into actual flesh and blood and my chewing him out vociferously, which, of course, got back to the first shirt and CO, and a large misunderstanding of what actually constituted rank and qualifications. I won, but I vowed neverto tangle with military ‘benefits’ again.. And THAT waz back in the ’60’s.. !!
