If that is an older pre-60s toaster (it resembles an old Sunbeam) it is definitely worth fixing. They were made in the USA, and last forever.
Nowadays, even fixing something means just taking out a chunk and putting a new chunk in its place aka buying new instead of fixing old.

Those old shiny chrome toasters were the best. … But the toaster we use for camping doesnt need electricity. And still works. If you dont mind burnt fingers.
