Are you sure there isn’t a wolf in there someplace? And a butterfly?
Otherwise you have it covered…well… except for an adorable puppy, maybe.
Way back in the mid-70’s, I was making and selling a bit of jewelery out of a plastic modelling compound called Fimo.
Already tired of the themes popping up everywhere, I made myself a big brooch, with a rainbow-winged white unicorn, in front of a crescent moon… there was a star on it, and a flower…. every trite thing I could think of…
But instead of laughing, people wanted to buy it…. sigh….
Anyway…. mystery partially solved…Tony, I apologise if I’m not supposed to tell..
Yesterday it was mentioned that some newspapers are continuing the spider saga.GoComics must not want to run it here…though I think that’s odd, cos Universal both syndicates the strips to newspapers AND owns this site…
I discovered that, instead. we’re getting re-runs.
The strips we’ve been seeing since Monday originally ran in February 2009, when these dates were, conveniently, on the same days of the week as they are in 2015.
Anyway… if you actually want to see the spider strips, like if you’re a boy or something….click on the link to Creators.com …it’s below the “About Agnes” blurb on the right, above.
I wasn’t reading Agnes yet in 2009, and my perusal of the archives hasn’t gotten that far…so I’m enjoying these!
Certainly, there should be a wise Native American with his hand resting on his pet wolf and a hawk on his shoulder and a full moon in the background, two black lovers with large fros and a cobra with diamond eyes. And for God sakes don’t forget the dolphins.

Agnes kind of lost track of those unicorns.

Sure seems to me to cover all the bases. But maybe if you look at it in a mirror, it’s Satanic or something.

There is a part of the “dead spider” series that was thought to be offensive by some. That part hasn’t happened yet.:-)
