My S.O. and I are known for our neighborhood parties. Last New Years we went through a case of prosecco, three bottles of gin and a Costco size jar of olives. Five rounds of shrimp, lots of goodies. We didn’t plan to do anything this year. Yesterday a couple neighbors came over and said they didn’t make any plans just in case we were going to host an event.
Seems to me they’re overthinking it just a little. Trout will likely bring over one bag of chips (and maybe a sleeping bag — figure her mom will be “busy” that night). Agnes will have a bottle of soda on hand. They’ll both conk out before midnight. End of plan.

you need to set a plan on how the brain works (should be working that is)

How to a great party: Invite all the people who have already made other plans. Keep all the food for yourselves.
